The name Barley Bottom came from the name of my house, nothing complex or creative about that . In a similar vain, there is little complexity in the products I intend to make available, in that I want to pass on my own Yorkshire thrift and provide value for money without compromising on quality.

I have personally brewed wine and beer for 20 years and enjoy passing-on help and advice to others wherever I can.
